Renowned TCM Doctor Joins our Faculty

CCAOM is honoured to announce that Dr. Liu Fang has recently joined our already exceptional group of instructors.
Fang graduated as a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1983 from Guangxi University of TCM, China. As well as studying TCM in University, Fang also studied the traditional way, mentoring under several renowned TCM masters.
Since coming to Canada in 1988, Fang has worked in various hospitals and clinics. In Montreal, Fang practiced TCM at the Kirkland Medical Centre and St. Anne’s Hospital working mainly with mental imbalances.
After 7 years in Quebec, Fang relocated to Vancouver, where he began
teaching at the International College of TCM and working at the Centre
for Integrated Healing, specializing in the treatment of cancer
patients.
In 2005, Fang returned to China to teach at the Guangxi University of
Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as help start up the Institute of
Classical Based Clinical Studies in TCM. The latter focusing on the
treatment of advanced cancer patients and other difficult cases with
classical TCM methods (yang school).
In the past 25 years Fang has always kept his focus on the classics and
foundations of TCM. And has continually worked to bring greater
awareness to the roots of TCM.
Now residing in Victoria, Fang continues to practice TCM as well as
teach.
